Official information and operator descriptions

Sources & editorial notes

Our practical advice is based on the official and operator sources below. Checked on 24 October 2026. Opening notices and services are changeable information, not a live feed.

A route detail worth checking

Official notice checked 24 October 2026: the footpath from the parish church, lake and Rowing Promenade to the castle is closed from 6 October until approximately 30 October 2026. Use the official access guidance; after this period, verify the updated notice rather than assuming reopening.

Current official route: 1.6 km through the one-way gorge, followed by the 4.1 km King of Triglav return route — 5.7 km in total, with at least 2.5–3 hours advised by the operator. This excludes your journey from Bled. Recheck the route before travel.

Book online. The current official guidance does not allow private cars to reach the Visitor Centre: use the designated LIP P1 parking hub and shuttle. The Bled–LIP connection and LIP–Visitor Centre shuttle are separate legs; check both. Tickets are not sold at the Visitor Centre.
